Listing your venue
How to create a venue listing and add spaces on Promise Tickets.
Your venue listing is your public presence on Promise Tickets. It includes your venue's details, photos, and the spaces you have available for booking.
Creating a venue
From the My Venues dashboard, click Create venue and fill in:
- Venue name — the name of your venue or location.
- Address — the full street address. This is shown on your public venue page with a link to maps.
- Metro area — the metropolitan region where your venue is located. This helps producers find your venue when searching by location.
- Description — a summary of your venue, what makes it special, and what types of events it's best suited for.
- Website — a link to your venue's own website (optional).
Adding spaces
Most venues have one or more bookable spaces. For each space, you can specify:
- Name — e.g., "Main Stage", "Black Box", "Outdoor Amphitheater".
- Description — details about the space.
- Capacity — the maximum number of attendees.
- Daily rental rate — the cost per day. You can hide pricing publicly if you prefer inquiries.
- Features — setting (indoor/outdoor), stage type, seating style, sound system, lighting, ADA accessibility, parking, and age restrictions.
Photos
Upload photos to showcase your venue and individual spaces:
- Hero image — the main photo displayed prominently at the top of your venue page.
- Gallery images — additional photos shown in a scrollable gallery. You can reorder gallery images after upload.
Photos can be JPEG, PNG, or WebP format, up to 5MB each. Both venue-level and space-level photos are supported.
Documents
Upload PDF documents that producers can download from your public venue page:
- Technical riders
- House rules
- Insurance requirements
- Booking terms
Documents are limited to PDF format, up to 10MB each.
Vanity URL
Each venue gets a shareable slug for a public URL like promisetickets.com/venues/your-venue-name. You can customize this slug when creating or editing your venue.
