Getting started as a venue owner

How to set up your venue on Promise Tickets and start receiving booking proposals.

Promise Tickets connects venue owners with event producers who have validated audience demand. As a venue owner, you list your spaces and receive booking proposals from producers whose campaigns have shown real ticket interest.

Signing up

When you create an account, select "I want to host events" during the role selection step. If you already have a producer account, you can add the venue owner role from your Settings page without creating a new account.

What you can do

As a venue owner, you can:

  • List your venue with details like address, description, and photos.
  • Add spaces within your venue (e.g., "Main Stage", "Black Box", "Patio").
  • Set pricing with daily rental rates for each space.
  • Manage availability by marking dates as available, tentative, or unavailable.
  • Upload documents like technical riders, house rules, and insurance requirements.

How it connects to campaigns

Producers create campaigns to pre-sell tickets. When a producer is looking for a venue, they can browse listed venues and submit a booking proposal for a specific space and set of dates. You review proposals and decide whether to accept.

Next steps

  1. Create your first venue from the My Venues dashboard.
  2. Add at least one space with capacity and pricing.
  3. Set your availability calendar so producers know when your space is open.
