Creating an account
How to sign up for a Promise Tickets account.
You need a Promise Tickets account to create and manage campaigns as a producer, or to list venues as a venue owner. Patrons do not need an account to make promises.
Sign-up methods
You can create an account using any of the following:
Email and password
- Go to the Promise Tickets homepage and click Get started.
- Enter your email address and choose a password.
- Click Sign up.
- Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to verify your account.
- Click Get started on the homepage.
- Click Continue with Google.
- Select your Google account and authorize the connection.
Facebook / Meta
- Click Get started on the homepage.
- Click Continue with Facebook.
- Log in to Facebook and authorize the connection.
Info
Facebook/Meta sign-up may not be available on all instances of Promise Tickets. If you don't see the option, use email or Google instead.
Choosing your role
After verifying your email, you'll be asked how you want to use the platform:
- "I want to organize events" — sets you up as a producer to create campaigns.
- "I want to host events" — sets you up as a venue owner to list spaces.
- You can select both if you organize events and own a venue.
You can always add the other role later from your Settings page.
After signing up
Once your account is created, you'll be redirected to your dashboard where you can:
- Create your first campaign (producers)
- List your first venue (venue owners)
- Connect your Stripe account for payouts
- Manage your settings
